Adrianne nails ‘Breaking the Girl’

Breaking the Girl is yet another new upcoming project for Adrianne! She’s turning out to be a very busy girl!

Myriad Pictures has reigned in A Haunting in Connecticut’s Amanda Crew and Friday Night Lights’ Adrianne Palicki to star in the thriller. According to Variety, the film is about a student who loses a scholarship at the hands of a fellow classmate, which leads her to make a pack with a friend to kill off each other’s enemies.

Director Jamie Babbit will begin production in the spring in Canada. The majority of Babbit’s credits include one-episode stints for shows like 90210, Castle and Eli Stone, so it’ll be interesting to see if she can handle a feature length film. The story and cast have potential so the odds are in her favor.

Friday Night Lights makes Access’ Top 10 TV Campus Classics

Yep, that’s right, FNL made it to number 5! Have to say sadly I agree with the moment to forget, that storyline was just not constructed as well as it could have been…

#5 – “Friday Night Lights”: Every Dillon Panther knows that, “Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can’t Lose!” At first glance, a series centered around a small town Texas high school football team could seem ripe for worn-out sports cliches and played out teenage stereotypes. But, the NBC drama (which was almost canceled!) has proven to be one of the best-written and acted shows in recent memory. The stellar (and always overlooked by Emmy voters) Kyle Chandler (Coach Eric Taylor) and Connie Britton (Principal Tami Taylor) head up an ensemble cast of high school students battling to make their way through their lives – that just happens to be framed by a town obsessed with high school football. Most Memorable Moment: Star quarterback Jason Street (played by Scott Porter) getting parlayed during the series game opener. Moment To Forget: The emotional – yet cliche storyline – where Landry Clarke (played by Jesse Plemons) kills Tyra Collette’s (played by Adrianne Palicki) rapist.

Connie sat down with Buzzsugar for a short moment at the TCA event and talked about her character, the relationship with Julie and her feelings about Adrianne.

On Adrianne Palicki, whose character became a big part of Tami’s life: “I’m going to miss her a lot. She is going to be shooting Red Dawn the exact same period of time that we’re shooting, but [the writers] do intend to have her come back in season five. So she will get her good-bye arc, but we’re not going to get her this season.”

Take a first look at Adrianne Palicki as Jessica on SUPERNATURAL Season 5 Episode 3 “Free To Be You And Me” airing September 24 at 9pm on the CW.

That’s right, Jessica (Adrianne Palicki) or whatever version of her will be visiting Sam this season. I have a feeling that this could be a really great episode for Sam, especially since we know Lucifer will also be visiting him in that episode. I just can’t wait!

Adrianne’s new movie, Legion has released the red band trailer and I have to say it looks AMAZING. Adrianne plays a pregnant woman with a troubled past and has angels coming to kill her and her child. Who’s there to protect her? Paul Bettany as Michael. I can’t wait to see this movie. Confirmed: No Tyra in season 4

The watcher website confirms, Tyra Collette won’t be finishing her arc until season 5. This is due to scheduling constraints brought on by her filming Red Dawn and appearing in season 5 of Supernatural.

Adrianne not coming back to FNL?

Apparently Adrianne may not be returning to FNL for a farewell to her character Tyra Collette. It’s possibly because of the scheduling conflict of the filming for Red Dawn. Read more behind the cut.

Red Dawn starts filming the same time as season 4, so the question remains will Tyra get her farewell? Adrianne is sad about leaving FNL, but there might be hope that Tyra’s story will wrap up at the end of season 4. Here’s the article provided from Buddy TV. Well, the girl that plays Tyra isn’t so sure either, but she’s pointing towards a schedule conflict. “I’m actually going to be shooting [Red Dawn] during the fourth season, so I don’t know if I’m going back,” she told Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello. Red Dawn, in this case, is a remake of the 1984 war film, which puts her in the company of Chris Hemsworth and Josh Peck.

“I know they want me to [return],” she added. “[The thought of leaving FNL makes me] very sad. I had such a great time on that show. They’re like my family.”

So suddenly I’m playing with the idea of either her farewell arc happening at the later part of season 4, which would be a little weird because they’ll have to account for a Tyra-less first part of the season, or the return happening on the fifth season. Which has the same implications, if you think about it. Whichever case, it’s a way of getting used to it…

All I’m asking is for one more Tim and Tyra moment for my shipper heart.

Comic Con in San Diego

Were you at the San Diego Comic Con? If you weren’t, fear not, I bring Comic Con images of Adrianne at the “Legion” panel where she was with her co-stars for this thriller about the end of the world and angels. I’ve redone and reopened the gallery, images behind the read more!
I myself didn’t get a chance to go, which saddens me, but my friend who did go and saw the panel said Adrianne was as charming as ever and looked beautiful. Based on the press pictures I find that to be true. Then again when doesn’t she look amazing? I hope to bring you an article soon on the event and what all was said, but for now I do come baring images!
